The Pathfinder Circle is designed to recognize a nurse who is currently or has previously been certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is now retired from all active practice in which this certification was utilized. Inclusion in the Pathfinder Circle acknowledges and recognizes that as a certified nurse you served as a role model and leader in the profession.

The Pathfinder Circle members receive:

• a special certificate recognizing your specialty certification and displaying "retired" after your credential, i.e., Pat Jones, RN-BC-Retired or Pat Jones, APRN, BC-Retired.
• a letter acknowledging specialty certification.
• the ANCC Retired Certified Nurse pin.
